Mammut's Trovat Guide II High GTXĀ® is a seriously durable and extremely comfortable mountain hiking boot, made with a textile upper surrounded by a full rubber rand to help deflect scree and protect from boulder scrapes.Ā A GORE-TEXĀ® Performance Comfort membrane lining provides full waterproof protection whilst allowing perspiration to pass out of the boot, helping to maintain temperature and keep your feet dry.
Designed with their patented Base FitĀ® 2.0 heel strap system and Motion ControlĀ® design, you're guaranteed a snug fit around the laces and heel that holds your foot in the optimum walking position and prevents it from slipping or twisting.The use of Memory Foam provides comfort around your instep, shin and ankles, and the Foot Mapping System zones each area of the boot to give your feet cooling/padding/warmth/slip or non-slip linings as required.Ā Finally, the sole uses Rolling ConceptĀ® technology to promote natural foot movement and prevent fatigue, finished with a grippy VibramĀ® outsole which is compatible with B1/A9 grade walking crampons.
The individual 3-zone lacing allows for a personalised and adaptable binding and the Elastic Gore-Tex Tongue Construction means no formation of creases in the tongue area and make the boots easier to put on and take off.
